Open Studio
Starting July 7th, Desert Dog Press will be open for open studio time. To make sure we are as safe as possible we ask that you reserve press time. This allows us to make sure we do not have a bunch of people in the shop at one time. We are requiring everyone to wear a mask inside the shop at all times.

Cost
$10/hr
Open Studio includes troubleshooting with studio printers, access to rags, solvent, newsprint, type and the resources listed below.
Studio Members are asked to bring their own paper, additional fees for use of inks and emulsion.
Becoming a Member
If you are an experienced printer, you may participate in shop rental after a $35 one-hour orientation with us. There is not an orientation fee if you are a student or recent graduate from CMU. If you are not an experienced printer you must take at least two classes to participate in shop rental or a private lesson
DDP is a supportive and safe place where different perspectives and backgrounds are respected and self expression is encouraged.
Equipment must be rented through our website. You may do this by emailing us the date, time and equipment you would like or by filling out the form located by clicking the button below
Additional Fees
$25 galley deposit (this is for anyone using a galley, this is only charged if the galley is left with type for more than 3 weeks)
$20 clean up fee (this is only if you don't clean up your space before you leave)
